Reid Elem is an artist and educator that combines the traditions of fine art and documentary photography to focus on social and environmental issues. Reid has been traveling extensively over the last decade, focusing on the global human condition, and reacting to what he sees with his camera. Most recently, Reid has been making documentary street photography in Europe, Central Asia and South America.  

 Reid received his Masters of Fine Arts in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and he is currently fulfilling a full-time position at Utah Valley University as an Associate Professor of Photography.
